Letters & Conversations

LETTERS

From the February 2005 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The November issue of the Journal was one of the best. Enjoyed the in-depth healings—telling the truths used and how to put them into practice. The examples of how individuals continued to grow and go on with their practice while working out their own challenges really inspired me. This makes Christian Science practical, not just a talked-about religion. It tells how to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

I loved "A gratitude album" [p. 35]. I have learned from my own experience the recuperative power of gratitude—how healing is accomplished and what a joy it can be. The articles in all the Journals give me food for daily thought and are so relevant to everyday problems. Sometimes they have given me courage to persist when problems loomed especially big.
