Thank you for such a beautiful array of articles, as well as outward expression of color and dignity of the gift—the gift of Christ—in all your layout and presentation. December's gift of healing is sure to embrace the universe with the outpouring of love and careful selections of each article. I started from the back and with each article realized my healing of my thought from self as a material thing to the uplifted realization of my being as unlimited and reflecting immortality. It is impossible to select one article over another, but when I reached Susan E. Omar's "Christmas blooms in the desert" [p. 32], it directed my thought to our immortal Father-Mother ever present. Right there, She answers all our prayers.

The November Journal article "A higher view of self-improvement" [p. 32] by David C. Kennedy really hit home with me. The four marble sculptures by Michelangelo known as "Four Prisoners" struck me when we walked among them at the Galleria Dell'Accademia in Florence, Italy, as already whole and complete, and needing only the sculptor's chisel to bring that wholeness to fruition. I loved the way the article states that so, too, we can come to the realization that our true identity and selfhood are complete and whole, not partially but fully.
