I want to applaud the changes in the Journal's design over the last couple of years. The use of color and design, often instead of photographic illustration, gives the magazine a very "whole" feeling. I also feel this coming through in the lay-out of the articles and photos. It is beautiful to see how much the inclusion of graceful, confident pieces of art can help us reflect on the graceful, confident messages expressed on adjacent pages.

The question posed in the November Journal concerning donations to medical research [p. 8] resulted in three very interesting responses. However unintentional, all three replies essentially dismissed the worth of other courses of action than those preferred by the Christian Science community.
