On Sunday, June 1, the day before Annual Meeting 2008 convened, several events were held at the Church for everyone to attend. Here's a brief summary of the afternoon's inspiring activities.
SPECIAL SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE—
The Church doors opened and the people streamed in. But this afternoon, the congregation would find a much more relaxed atmosphere than at many traditional Christian Science services. Planned especially for Annual Meeting weekend, the service was held in the original building of The Mother Church.
