MY FLIGHT OUT of New York had been slightly delayed, but I made my connection in Chicago with ease. In fact, when I got to the gate of my connecting flight they had just started to board, and I could walk right on into the airplane. Perfect.

My wife had been looking for a particular rosebush for our garden for a long time. Yesterday our local nursery had just gotten it in. And it was even on sale. Perfect.
