Twisted ankle quickly healed

From the January 2012 issue of The Christian Science Journal

My wife and I enjoy taking walks in the evenings as a way to explore different areas of nearby neighborhoods. The walks give us a chance to talk with each other while enjoying a well-cared-for yard, a nice view, or a beautiful sunset.

Frequently, these walks go on well after dark.

On a recent outing we were descending a hill. A nearby streetlight gave us some visibility, but a parked car caused a shadow that left a section of sidewalk below our feet in total darkness. Consequently, I did not see a hole in the sidewalk as I stepped into it. I fell to my hands and knees, and twisted my ankle.
