Alone?

From the December 2012 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Alone?

© TOM BRAKEFIELD/STOCKBYTE//THINKSTOCK

It has been said,
We enter the Kingdom of Heaven, one by one—alone.
Not true.
We don’t.
We can’t.
Impossible.
We are never alone.
Ever!

Why?
Because of our eternal inseparability from God
And His ever-presence.
No matter where we are—how we are,
No matter whom we are with—or without,
We are never alone.
Ever!

But wait . . .
Since God and His idea is one
And we can never be outside that oneness
Then, might it not be “one by one” after all?

But that’s not so either.
For how can we enter or return to
Where we have never left?

The Kingdom of Heaven is,
Truly,
Our “primitive and ultimate source of being;” Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 63
Where we live, and move, and breathe . . .
Eternally!
