In an era when financial resources are often declared inadequate to meet human needs, many Christian Scientists are embracing—even enjoying!—the challenge to use resources in more creative and effective ways. Recently elected Treasurer Henry “Lyon” Osborn talked with Margaret Rogers, a member of the Christian Science Board of Directors, about these opportunities.

Margaret: Lyon, before you became Treasurer of the Church, you were the Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society and faced the daily, on-going challenge of how to bring down a large deficit while still providing the Christian Science periodicals that are so essential to the world.
