Dear Fellow Members,
This invitation to Annual Meeting 2015 is being sent to each one of you wrapped with so much love and expectancy of good! We are called of God to join in a special time of coming together and growing together, of continuing to build on the foundation of Christ-healing that is central to this Church. Each of you is essential—invaluable—to carrying forward this great Cause.
Whether you will be joining online or in person, this year’s Annual Meeting will provide us with the opportunity to rejoice in the joys and triumphs we’ve seen, as well as to support one another as we face down today’s challenges together. We’ll be drawing on our continued study of Mary Baker Eddy’s message to her Church “ ‘Choose Ye’ ” (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, pp. 3–6). Given in connection to the dedication of the Extension of The Mother Church in Boston, her words are a reminder that true church building isn’t about material architecture; it’s about the choices we make in our lives and our commitment to selflessness, faithfulness, and meekness as we serve God wholeheartedly.
