Admission of new members

From the January 2016 issue of The Christian Science Journal

On November 6, 2015, the Christian Science Board of Directors voted to welcome new members to our worldwide church family. The election of new members takes place at a regular business meeting of the Board of Directors and is required in the Church Manual.

Applications for this most recent admission were received in English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish and were sent to us from the following locations: Angola, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Benin, Brazil, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, China, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Philippines, Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Togo, Uganda, United States of America, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

These newest members of our worldwide church family join with us in making a commitment to the Cause that Mary Baker Eddy referred to as “the greatest and holiest of all causes” (Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896, p. 177).
