New Cover Design
This month brings changes to the Journal’s cover, the result of careful thought that was given to the Journal’s purpose and the cover’s role in that purpose.
First of all, we thought about what the founder of this magazine, Mary Baker Eddy, wrote: that the Journal is “designed to put on record the divine Science of Truth” (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 353). Shouldn’t the cover convey something of this purpose? Shouldn’t it give readers an indication of the record of divine Science that its pages contain?
