I started studying Christian Science in 2010, and since then I have had countless blessings. I want to share a healing I experienced in 2016. When I began to have a cough, I prayed to know that the weather has no power to harm a spiritual idea of God, which is everyone’s true identity. However, the next day the symptoms became severe, and I took a half-day leave from work. As I reached home, I couldn’t breathe properly because of congestion.
I asked a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful help, and she lovingly agreed. She shared the thought that we live in the atmosphere of divine Love and that this spiritual atmosphere gives us inspiration, not suffocation. She suggested I pray with a hymn from the Christian Science Hymnal that includes these lines:
In atmosphere of Love divine,
We live, and move, and breathe;
Though mortal eyes may see it not,
’Tis sense that would deceive.
