It has been a joy to share news with you from the Clerk’s office over the last several years. As conveyed in an announcement in April, I’ll be concluding my work as Clerk later in June. It’s a special privilege to share news with you about those who have considered what it means to be a member of The Mother Church and have acted on it by applying for membership. Admission takes place at a regular business meeting of the Christian Science Board of Directors as required in the Church Manual. Today, June 1, the Board voted to admit new members to our worldwide Church family.
Applications for this admission were received in English, French, German, Igbo, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish and were sent to us from the following locations: Angola, Argentina, Australia, Benin, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Denmark, England, Germany, Greece, Japan, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Portugal, Republic of Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Scotland, South Africa, Switzerland, Uganda, United States of America, Uruguay, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
