From the September 2018 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Strongly relate to this article

Kudos, kudos, kudos, to Gloria Preston for her article “The value of spiritual logic” in the July 2018 Journal. I’m sure many are going to relate to it as strongly as I do. “Logic” is exactly the word to explain why Christian Science is the path I’ve chosen on my spiritual journey. The clarity, simplicity, and style of presentation of this article are outstanding. It’s one that I’ll feel free to share with many seekers.

Beautiful ideas

I am grateful for the beautiful ideas in the recent article, “Health you can never lose,” by Chet Manchester (Journal, June 2018). It is a beautiful and refreshing reminder to know that “health is not a personal possession but is pure reflection.”

I have also enjoyed sharing these articles and testimonies with others more frequently as I remember Mary Baker Eddy’s words, “Give them a cup of cold water in Christ’s name, and never fear the consequences” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 570).

I was grateful to find out that JSH-Online.com has a “share” button, where one can share an article, even if the person receiving the article does not have an account.

I would also like to express my gratitude to all the editors, and to those who make JSH-Online possible at The Christian Science Publishing Society, for all of their healing work. And I am also grateful to all who write for the Publishing Society, as there is such humility and selflessness expressed through all the published writings. The publications are such a gift. Thank you.

Reassuring message

[Don R. Adams, “Am I good enough to be healed?Journal, June 2018]

This is a wonderful and reassuring message for all of us who doubt our ability or worthiness to be healed. (Of course we are good enough—we are God’s children!)
