Important insights

[Amy and Christopher Bordeaux, “Restoration and healing after serious car accident,” Journal, June 2019]

Thanks to the Bordeauxes for the telling of their experience, with many important insights so kindly shared. It gave me things to pray with on a particularly challenging night with a bad headache. Just listening to this testimony helps us to be grateful for their healing, as it shows God’s love and power-filled care for us all.

Raised my thought

[Annette Kreutziger-Herr, “The promise of newness,” Journal, June 2019]

Absolutely wonderful! I know the same healing inspiration that raised my thought as I listened to this article is supporting Truth’s timeless good news message of renewal.

Enlightening article

[Blythe Evans, “Breaking the ‘fourth wall’ of unbelief,” Journal, June 2019]

This article was so enlightening. I was reminded of Christ Jesus’ use of parables to bring the healing truth of the reality and total power of God to the receptive thought. A sort of bridge to overcome the seeming gap of separation from our true source—God.

Read again and again

[Mark Swinney, “How are we formed?Journal, May 2019]

I have read this article by Mark Swinney again and again, with each reading bringing me closer to understanding that my identity is truly spiritual. I especially like the statement: “We are Mind’s conception; only Mind outlines our identity, and there is no other mind. It is good to affirm this often for oneself.” I am affirming this for myself daily. This affirmation is helping me make progress with a particular challenge that no longer seems so challenging. Thank you.

New perspective

[Margaret Rogers, “The Teacher that’s always with us,” Journal, April 2019]

This wrapped around me like a warm blanket and sunshine at the same time. Inspiring and simple! Each day I strive to live up to the Commandments and the Beatitudes. This editorial gave me a refreshing new perspective on how to advance “mentally to live fully in Spirit.” Thank you, Margaret!
