Poem

God’s saving grace

From the March 2026 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Your endless river of good flows gently my way,
streams peacefully within my consciousness,
wells up in me with inspiration.

Your heavenly stars shine majestically in my eyes,
reflect promisingly in my thoughts,
glowing with Your glory.

But, if I am under turbulent waters,
Your outstretched hand brings me up,
buoys me, and pacifies the river.

If I am lost in a starless night,
Your radiance is my guiding star,
leading me until dawn breaks.

If I am in a ferocious storm,
Your presence is my peace and promise,
calming the tempest and taking me home.
