Misconceptions about Christian Science

The simplicity of Christian Science practice

From the September 2026 issue of The Christian Science Journal

This article is part of a series appearing occasionally in the Journal and The Herald of Christian Science. Each article aims to correct some misconception about Christian Science that would keep us from having the results we so desire as spiritual healers.

I loved the Christian Science practitioner who had told me this, and I valued what I had previously learned from her healing work for me. But I questioned whether she truly understood the challenges I was confronting.
