Don't be surprised if The Christian Science Journal feels a bit heftier and looks a little more lively beginning in May, 1972. We're adding eight more pages and a dash or two of color to bring you a big, new, illustrated "Church in Action: News and Announcements" section.

From the Directors A half-hour film for use on television is announced by The Christian Science Board of Directors. The film, entitled "Finding True Freedom," presents three firsthand accounts of healing and a discussion of these by two members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship.

Invitations to Individual Members to Address Meetings At times individual members of The Mother Church receive invitations to address a branch church inspirational meeting in the interest of church activity or to consider the application of Christian Science to the solutions of pressing local and national problems. It is in order for a member of The Mother Church to accept an invitation occasionally to address the membership of a branch church other than his own, or to address a meeting called by a joint committee in which his branch does not participate.

The Christian Science Board of Directors announces the appointment of Paul D. Sampson of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, as Executive Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society.

In order that members expecting to be in Boston for the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church 1972 may make their plans well in advance, we feel they would like to know our intentions for this meeting. This Annual Meeting season will last only two days.

When You Can Join The Mother Church Earnest students of Christian Science who rely solely on Christian Science for healing are warmly invited to apply for membership in The Mother Church at any time. Applications are acted upon twice each year—once in June (applications due by May 1) and once in November (applications due by October 1).

Today, more than ever before, the individual is aware of his need to be of service to others: to his neighbor, his community, his world. Class instruction brings to the student of Christian Science an individual blessing, spiritual and practical.
