FROM THE DIRECTORS [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel of February 19, 1949 ] Occasionally Christian Scientists in the United States and abroad are appealed to by strangers for financial advances. Various means of obtaining money fraudulently are employed by unscrupulous persons.

From the Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13, is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January 1 and December 31.

FROM THE DIRECTORS READERS IN BRANCH CHURCHES TERM OF OFFICE In the articles "Words for the Wise" and "Afterglow" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, pp. 250, 251 ), our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, commends the adoption of a three-year term for Readers in branch churches.

RECORDING OF TUESDAY EVENING MEETING AVAILABLE TO BRANCHES A meeting in the interest of branch church progress, entitled "Christian Science and the World Today," took place in Boston, Massachusetts, on the Tuesday evening following the 1954 Annual Meeting of The Mother Church. The complete report recorded on tape will be available to branches of The Mother Church in all countries for presentation at a meeting of members.

Drawn from the Archives of The Mother Church, and now appearing in print for the first time, are an account by Judge Clifford P.

GREEK TRANSLATION OF "RUDIMENTAL DIVINE SCIENCE AND NO AND YES" BY MARY BAKER EDDY The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy are pleased to announce the publication of "Rudimental Divine Science and No and Yes" in Greek. This is the first publication of one of the writings of our Leader in the Greek language.
