APPOINTMENT OF NEW EDITORS [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, August 29, 1953] The Christian Science Board of Directors announces the following new appointments, to take effect September 1, 1953; Lt. Col.

From The Treasurer of The Mother Church Per Capita Tax, as provided in the Church Manual, Article VIII, Section 13 , is due annually from "every member of The Mother Church," and "shall be forwarded each year to the Church Treasurer. " Payments may be sent during the year at any time between January I and December 31.

Wednesday Evening Meetings [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, August 5, 1939) It may be of interest to Readers in branch churches to know that at the Wednesday evening meetings held in The Mother Church, the First Reader arranges his Bible readings so as to include references from not more than four separate books of the Bible, and from Science and Health not more than ten correlative passages, and fewer when possible. The actual reading of these selections occupies all together about ten minutes.

FROM THE DIRECTORS Because an ever-increasing number of people in various parts of the world are becoming interested in Christian Science and are forming groups for the purpose of holding church services, it may be helpful to state what the fundamentals are for organizing a Christian Science Society. The membership of a proposed society should include not less than ten or twelve loyal, active Christian Scientists, at least four of whom should be members of The Mother Church.

ADDITIONAL CHAPTERS OF SCIENCE AND HEALTH ON LONG-PLAYING RECORDS The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce new long-playing records of three additional chapters of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This brings the total to twelve chapters now available, as indicated below.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Wartime Fund The Mother Church Wartime Fund, which was opened in January, 1942, and which so magnificently financed the work of the wartime years, is still open. This Fund is used to alleviate human suffering resulting from the war.
