FROM THE DIRECTORS The inquiries received by The Christian Science Board of Directors and by our Bureau of History and Records disclose that there are in circulation a surprising number of apocryphal sayings and writings mistakenly attributed to Mary Baker Eddy. Oftener than otherwise—much oftener—the subjects of inquiry are entirely spurious.

Students of Christian Science whose study has not yet led them to seek instruction by Mrs. Eddy, found in her other writings, will be gratified to learn of the publication of "Miscellaneous Writings" and "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" in new Cloth Pocket editions at one dollar a copy.

ITEMS OF INTEREST

Occasionally reports are received that in some communities in the Field, literature distribution boxes give the appearance of being neglected, by being allowed to remain empty over long periods, or by allowing the literature to remain in the boxes after it has become soiled and untidy. It is obvious that conditions of this sort should not prevail, even in a small way.

SEVEN NEW SOLO SETTINGS The Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy announce the publication of seven new solo settings for poems by Mrs. Eddy, which it is hoped will prove to be welcome additions to the music libraries of Christian Science churches and societies.
