[From the Christian Science Sentinel, February 11, 1939] In announcing the resignation of Miss Violet Ker Seymer as an Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and the various editions of The Herald of Christian Science, The Christian Science Board of Directors makes public the following communications: January 9, 1939 The Christian Science Board of Directors 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts Dear Friends: Moved by a deep desire for more time for study and increased activity in the healing work, I am sending you my resignation as Associate Editor, in which capacity I have been privileged to serve for ten years. I am beyond words grateful for all this experience has taught me; for the excellent support of co-workers in our Department; and to you for your unfailing readiness to confer with us in the interest of the periodicals, in spite of the incessant demands upon your time and attention.
ITEMS OF INTEREST [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, February 18, 1939] Committees on Information Regarding Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatoriums have been appointed by more than half of the branch churches and Christian Science Societies in the United States and Canada, and by some overseas. The activities and accomplishments of these committees have proved to be most helpful, and their assistance has been valuable in conveying authentic information regarding our sanatoriums.

FROM THE DIRECTORS [As published in the Christian Science Sentinel, December 24, 1938] The circulation and use of handwritten or typewritten papers containing copies of articles, letters, or sayings attributed to the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, has decreased to a gratifying extent in the last few years. Yet, the circulation and use of such papers still persists to an extent that is surprising in view of Article IV, Section 1, and Article XXI, Section 3, of our Church Manual.

Membership in The Mother Church Applications for admission to membership in The Mother Church may be sent to the Clerk at any time throughout the year. It is desirable that applications should be forwarded in ample time so that they may receive the essential preliminary attention before the date of election.
Pamphlet in Spanish Announcement is made of the translation into Spanish of the pamphlet "Three Essentials. " This pamphlet is published with alternate pages of English and the translation.
New "Daily Prayer" Mailing Card A new mailing card bearing the "Daily Prayer" from the Church Manual is now published by the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy. It is printed in four colors by the offset process.
