A rumor has been prevalent in various sections of the Field to the effect that the new Subscription Edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy is only for public and private libraries and should not be purchased by any branch church or individual. This is a wrong impression.
Occasionally the question arises as to whether a branch church should omit the session of its Sunday school held at the same hour as the church service, in order that the teachers, officers, and pupils who desire to do so might attend the service on Communion Sunday. The Field is hereby informed of an important change concerning the periods of admission to membership in The Mother Church. The closing date for the receipt of applications will now be set at approximately one month in advance of the date of the admission instead of two weeks as heretofore.
