[From the Christian Science Sentinel, February 11, 1939] In announcing the resignation of Miss Violet Ker Seymer as an Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and the various editions of The Herald of Christian Science, The Christian Science Board of Directors makes public the following communications: January 9, 1939 The Christian Science Board of Directors 107 Falmouth Street, Boston, Massachusetts Dear Friends: Moved by a deep desire for more time for study and increased activity in the healing work, I am sending you my resignation as Associate Editor, in which capacity I have been privileged to serve for ten years. I am beyond words grateful for all this experience has taught me; for the excellent support of co-workers in our Department; and to you for your unfailing readiness to confer with us in the interest of the periodicals, in spite of the incessant demands upon your time and attention.
