ITEMS OF INTEREST

The questions are sometimes asked regarding the list of subjects for the Lesson-Sermons in the  Christian Science Quarterly , Why did not Mrs. Eddy give a subject for each Sunday during the year, instead of for each Sunday in a six months' period? and, What do you do when there are fifty-three Sundays in a year? Answering the last question first, it can be said that when the year includes fifty-three Sundays, the Lesson-Sermon Committee repeats one of the subjects, often that of "Christian Science," for the additional Lesson-Sermon.
