We welcome readers to submit convincing testimonies of Christian Science healing for publication. These accounts should be concise and persuasive, demonstrating clearly that Christian Science heals.

September 1895 saw a compact but widely applicable book published—the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, who had founded The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1879. This year when members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship were notified of their appointments, they received the following letter from The Christian Science Board of Directors.
