Concord Technical Support Line number This is a reminder to registered Concord owners that the Concord Technical Support Line number has been changed to ( 617) 375-5200 . This long distance toll-call number is a direct line to the Concord support staff and cannot be accessed from the main switchboard at The Mother Church.

In order to place more timely articles and communications into The Christian Science Journal , we are changing the mailing date, and making other adjustments to editing and production schedules, as well as adding two new distribution points. As a result, beginning with the July 1995 issue, the Journal will be mailed to subscribers approximately seven days closer to its date of issue.

At this essential time in the history and work of our movement, it is appropriate and timely to call to the attention of members of The Mother Church this By-Law from Article VIII of the Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy: Church Organizations Ample , sect. 15.

In December 1894 Mary Baker Eddy ordained the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures as pastor over The Mother Church. This Rule was extended by her in April 1895 to include all branch churches.

A reader of Science and Health from Alaska relates the following: "The offer to purchase three paperback copies of Science and Health at a special price encouraged me to buy several and then pray for the right opportunities to share them in my community. "One of the first such opportunities came through my volunteer training at our fine museum.

During the week of Annual Meeting 1995, Concord training sessions will be offered according to the following schedule: 9 a. m.

New-available to sample Occasionally, we have used this space to inform you about some of the newer publications available and to provide a means to receive samples. Many people have enjoyed this opportunity to try out a diskette or printed periodical before subscribing.

We welcome readers to submit convincing testimonies of Christian Science healing for publication. These accounts should be concise and persuasive, demonstrating clearly that Christian Science heals.

"Will you sign my application for membership?" Does your heart leap at the opportunity to help someone apply for membership in The Mother Church? In the Manual of The Mother Church , Mary Baker Eddy gives every member this privilege: "Only members of The Mother Church are qualified to approve for membership individuals who are known to them to be Christians, and faithful, loyal students of the textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" ( Art. VI, Sect.
