Fund for helping branches in small towns Many branches of The Mother Church in smaller towns have received financial assistance from the Mangels Fund since the fund was first announced to the Field in 1973. Grants from the Mangels Fund have aided in the purchase or building of edifices, in alterations or additions to present facilities including Sunday Schools and Reading Rooms, and in refurbishment projects.
