fund for helping branches in small towns Many branches of The Mother Church in smaller towns have received financial assistance from the Mangels Fund since the fund was first announced to the Field in 1973. Grants from the Mangels Fund have aided in the purchase or building of edifices, in alterations or additions to present facilities including Sunday Schools and Reading Rooms, and in refurbishment projects.
Armed Services Activities The ministry of Christian Science Activities for Armed Services Personnel reaches around the world. It benefits men and women in the armed forces of many different countries by providing regular Christian Science services, Christian Science treatment, and other assistance.
