Putting first things first The most important meetings that can ever be held in and by a Church of Christ, Scientist, are the Sunday services, Wednesday testimony meetings, Sunday School, and Christian Science lectures. These gatherings are all provided for in the Manual of The Mother Church by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and they supply our movement with the means for worship, healing, spiritual education, and growth.
A warm invitation If you are reading the Journal for the first time and would like to find out more about the teachings of Christian Science, Christian Scientists in your area warmly invite you to attend church services and use the local Reading Room. Services held on Sunday are based on readings from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
