From the May 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"The hour has surely arrived for the spiritual idea we know as Christian Science to be born to the whole world and accepted as its cherished own. Isn't it time for us to experience the spiritual birth, which will show forth the beauty, the attractiveness, the vitality, of Spirit?"

"All are subject to divine power— one infinite God, good, always present to direct thought. The truth is true everywhere. The Word can be heard everywhere. This correct assessment of the situation helps to lessen tension, remove anxiety, and open the way for universal Love to be felt and acted upon."

"Man is the spiritual reflection of God, living in God, and not a mortal trying to make it in a material world as the physical senses would have us believe. The understanding that it is God's function to be the ultimate in all things heals false ambition. This understanding reveals that whatever the category in which we may wish to achieve true greatness, God is already the incomparable One in that area and man is simply His reflection. In every category God expresses ultimate perfection as a natural function of His absolute being."
