General Information

From the July 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

When you give to the General Purpose Fund of The Mother Church, which is giving without placing any kind of restriction on the money's use, it's a kind of "unlimited" gift.

Even a small gift can have this unbounded quality. And it's a help to the financial fluidity of The Mother Church for gifts to come this way. It enables The Christian Science Board of Directors and the Treasurer to direct funds to whatever need is most apparent at a given time instead of holding them for a specified kind of need.

Nevertheless, gifts to the special funds are welcome, too. Some funds currently open are:
General Purpose Fund
Endowment Fund for The
Christian Science Monitor
Translations Fund
Fund for Developing Areas
Charitable Institutions Fund
Relief and Assistance Fund
