THE HEART

Which of its many definitions is uppermost in your thought when you see the word "heart"? Do you think of the human heart as giving life or as taking life away by its action or inaction? In Christian Science we learn that man's life is spiritual, the reflection of the one Life, God. Hence man's true life is never in a human heart and cannot be affected by the action or inaction of the heart.

PEACE OF MIND

The attainment of peace of mind is one of the most ardently desired goals. Many conscientious men and women in various fields are seeking to bring peace to mankind.

CHURCH DEDICATION

It is the practice and rule in Churches of Christ, Scientist, that the church edifice shall not be dedicated until it is fully paid for. Naturally the dedication of a branch church is dear to the heart of all the members, and they work hopefully and confidently toward this greatly desired goal.

SOLVING HUMAN PROBLEMS

Divine Science reveals that there is no discord in God. What a comfort it is to know this! In all-inclusive, infallible Mind, there is no inharmony.

"I AM NOT COME TO DESTROY, BUT TO FULFIL"

The way of Christian Science is the way of Life. It is resurrective and fulfilling; it is not destructive.

History furnishes shining examples of those who, because of their deep humility and nobility of character, were willing to lay aside all sense of self, to do battle with the myriad forms of evil, and thus to contribute to the progress of humanity.

An Annual Meeting of The Mother Church provides Christian Scientists with fresh inspiration and renewed energy: inspiration to reach greater heights of spiritual understanding, and energy to carry on the work established so effectively by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The Christian Scientist returns to his home with many new ideas.
