How joyously a child awakes in the morning to the prospects of a day to be spent with those it loves. How much more joyously may we all awaken spiritually to find all good here and now in God's eternal day—the beauty of holiness, the perfection of man's real self hood, health, true and enduring happiness, timeless being.

How mankind longs for freedom and for peace! Human efforts to meet this longing are greater and more widespread today than ever before. The desire for freedom is a right desire, because it is a desire for the rightful heritage of man, of which, as actually the child of God, one cannot be deprived.

" Observations on wisdom, folly, and so forth had been followed by admonitions, for we read (verse 9), "He gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

Expectation of good is a most desirable and helpful state of mind for the promotion of happiness and well-being. Those who, through Christian Science, are spiritually equipped to maintain a calm and steadfast expectation of good are assured that the seeming discords and sufferings of mortal existence are unreal and therefore terminable.
