We may long to forgive the erring one and love him, but believe it humanly impossible.
A Christian Science treatment is a very natural thing, as natural as correcting a mistake in arithmetic. It is the use of the power of Truth to correct a condition that is not true.
Demonstration is a word that quickens the attention and hope of those beginning the study of Christian Science. It begets inspiration and courage in the heart of one reaching out to God to feel that at last he has found that whereby he can prove for himself the Word of God.
In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, tells us ( p. 390 ), "It is our ignorance of God, the divine Principle, which produces apparent discord, and the right understanding of Him restores harmony.
