Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

AS WE FORGIVE

IN our contacts with others, circumstances sometimes arise which seem to create strife and misunderstanding, even with those whom we consider our close friends. But it is gratifying to realize that no matter to what proportions a rift may appear to have developed, a simple and effective remedy is always available in Christian Science.

THE WAY OF TRUE EDUCATION

THE most important education mortals can acquire is not knowledge gained about the material universe and material man, but the understanding of what constitutes reality, the understanding of that which is eternal and enduring. While the desire to prepare oneself to be useful and efficient in human experience is commendable and the importance of that training should not be underrated, it does not solve the problem of spiritual advancement.

"THINE AGE SHALL BE CLEARER THAN THE NOONDAY"

ARE we thinking about growing old? Do we believe that we are older today than we were yesterday, or last week, or last year? Then we are entertaining an illusion, and the understanding of man as Christian Science reveals him will destroy that illusion and bring into present human experience an ever-increasing awareness of loveliness, freshness, and continuity of life. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy are these thought-provoking words ( p.

DIVINE RELATIONSHIP

THE ONENESS OF GOD AND MAN

OUR beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" ( p. 267 ): "God is one.

SABBATH REST

OBSERVANCE of the Sabbath day is recognized in every Christian nation and community. Even those who do not make a practice of attending church services often admit that the Sabbath day is a needed day of rest.

JOY THE EFFECT OF PRAYER

SPEAKING of his own ministering acts, Christ Jesus said ( John 13:17 ), "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them. " The word happy used here comes from a Greek root meaning "supremely blest.

THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON

THE only begotten Son, the beloved of the Father, is the eternal Christ, which was before Abraham, and which has become better understood as the ideal man through the ministry of Jesus. He ushered in the Christian era by living according to the Christ-principle himself and by teaching others so to live.
