A FAITHFUL study and application of Christian Science bestows upon the student spiritual understanding, which reveals the true nature of man's individuality. It is upon the Christianly scientific understanding of man's spiritual being as the expression of Spirit, God, that the student successfully demonstrates the healing and regenerating truths of Christian Science.
Realizing that his students needed much encouragement, instruction, and guidance in order to be able to follow his example, the master Christian, Christ Jesus, by his tender persuasion and loving promises always gave them fresh inspiration. From Genesis to the end of the Gospels, gardens are frequently mentioned in the Bible. The first was the garden of Eden, wherein appeared a serpent.
To most people the thought of being shut away in an internment camp behind barbed wire is terrifying. Mary Baker Eddy perceived the allness of God, divine Mind, and the inevitable corollary that there is no matter. Before she gave her revelation of the Science of Jesus' theology to the world in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," she proved the correctness of this theology by healing disease and sin.
