Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

THE JOY OF DEMONSTRATION

A Demonstration in Christian Science brings great joy. Sometimes in our experience when the tasks of life seem tedious and wearisome, in spite of earnest efforts for peace and harmony through the ministrations of Christian Science, we are troubled by the question, "Why is the demonstration so protracted?" The answer may be that a lesson in patience is needful.

"CHRIST AS PERFECT MANHOOD"

The spiritual thought realm is the one and only realm to which there can be no bounds, no limits. When, in Christian Science, we understand all true thought to be the expression of God, the omnipotent, omnipresent Mind, nothing will be impossible of attainment.

THE NOTICES

As may be seen in the Manual of The Mother Church, our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in arranging the order of our Sunday services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings, made provision for a period to be set aside for the reading of necessary notices. It is probably true that, while recognizing the need for these announcements, many of us who regularly attend the church services have come to regard them as primarily intended for the benefit of the newcomer, and have become so familiar with most of the details that we are apt to pay scant attention to them.

MAN FOREVER INTACT

The word "intact" appears several times in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, in conjunction with statements of man's spiritual, harmonious being. Its definition as given by Webster is, in part, "Untouched, especially by anything that harms; unimpaired; left entire.

WHEN GOD SPEAKS

From time to time individuals have appeared who, because of their ability to see beyond the superficialities of material existence, have left for posterity examples of inspired lives and the blessed benefits of their teachings. God has not been partial in His bestowal of spiritual perception on these few; but rather have they, through their purity and receptivity, been able to hear His voice more clearly and claim with more assurance the divine blessings which await the discernment of every individual.

GOD'S HARVESTTIME

Those who have found traveling conditions rather difficult of late may not contemplate another journey with much enthusiasm, but the one which they are now invited to take will bring them to their destination quickly, and without effort, for it is wholly a mental journey. The reader is asked only to turn his thoughts toward that which in the United States is called the Middle West, and to imagine himself looking down upon a ripe field of golden wheat, swaying in the hot July sunshine.

ESTHER THE QUEEN

Among the heroines of Hebrew history, one who endeared herself to her compatriots because of her quiet courage and steadfastness was Hadassah, who is more widely known under her Persian name of Esther. After the passing of her parents, Esther was adopted by her first cousin, Mordecai, and lived in his house in the vicinity of the royal palace of Shushan.

LOVE, THE DEMAND OF THE HOUR

Unquestionably , within the heart of every Christian upon earth today is the deep longing or desire to tell the "old, old story of Jesus and his love;" but in order to do so understandingly, one must know and comprehend more fully the Christly way of loving which Jesus so perfectly exemplified. Christian Science is unfolding to receptive hearts a higher understanding of love, for it explains to its students the all-encompassing, liberating love of God, and points to Christ as the perfect expression or reflection of divine Love.

GOD'S WORD SETTLED IN HEAVEN

" For ever , O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven. " Christian Science gives the spiritual enlightenment which enables one to interpret the Scriptures.

"MY PRESENCE SHALL GO WITH THEE"

When he was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt into the promised land, Moses was confronted with many problems, none perhaps more persistent and insidious than his recurring distrust of his ability to carry out his mission. On one occasion he received the reassuring divine promise, "My presence shall go with thee.
