Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

COURAGE

On the eve of his first transoceanic flight, while discussing courage with another student of Christian Science, an army pilot gained a clear sense of equanimity and dominion. The spontaneity of Mind brought many truths into this conversation, and it was revealed that there was a vast amount of difference between undemonstrated human courage and spiritually demonstrated courage.

THE POWER OF TRUTH

Jesus came to the world as the Saviour, revealing the Christ, Truth, enlightening the darkened thought of the people and showing them a richer, higher concept of the goodness and tender mercy of God. He proved that God is present to inspire with confidence the consciousness of men.

APPRECIATION

Christ Jesus never failed to express true appreciation of his fellow men. In the twenty-first chapter of Luke's Gospel it is related that on one occasion when he was in the temple he observed the people putting their contributions into the treasury.

HEALING THROUGH CHRISTIAN SCIENCE

The compassionate help and inspiration of Christian Science are effecting a marked change in the world's thinking. This divine Truth, when correctly applied to inharmonious human conditions, heals them— a fact which has been proved beyond cavil.

MAN'S INDESTRUCTIBLE LIFE

In the Bible several cases are recorded of those who have been raised from the dead. Enoch and Elijah did not go through the experience of death, and there is no record of the death of John, the beloved disciple.

WHAT IS OUR POSITION?

Position is one of the chief concerns of the human race, and involves one's social, financial, and moral standing. In considering this important subject, the question, "What is our position?" is more important than "Where is our position?" Christian Science teaches that the position of the real and only man is in divine Mind.

REHABILITATION

Enlightened thought has brought a new peace and joy to those who study and practice the teaching of Christian Science. The source of all inspiration is God, and we begin to grow spiritually as we turn to God for a refuge and dwelling place.

THE JOY AND BEAUTY OF ORDER

A Young student of Christian Science had an eager desire to express more orderliness. Association with another student, whose development and training had been along lines of order, system, and accuracy, helped her to achieve her wish.

"BEFORE THE WORLD WAS"

On page 465 of the Christian Science textbook, ''Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy defines God as follows: "God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth. Love.

During the last decade some nations were busy instructing their youth in their ways of thinking and living. These nations were well aware that the children of today are the citizens of tomorrow, and that they will help to mold the world from the standpoint of the teaching they have imbibed.
