THE building and dedication of a church edifice by a branch of The Mother Church marks the end of one stage of activity in the Christian Science movement in the community and the beginning of another. From a small band of earnest worshipers, perhaps gathering first in the home of one of their number, the organization has grown through accessions of those enlightened and healed, and thence has progressed to rented halls or remodeled residence, and now to a goodly structure of its own, designed to symbolize in location, beauty, and fitness the Christian Science ideal of loving service to God and man.

INDIVIDUALS who study and apply Christian Science and endeavor to turn from selfish ways and modes of living find that an adjustment of thought is necessary in order that they may conform their lives to the standard of Christ, Truth. Experiences are encountered wherein they must choose between good and bad, the new and the old, the spiritual and the material.
CHURCH building is a continuous operation. "Church," defined in part by Mary Baker Eddy on page 583 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" as "the structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle," must forever unfold as an immortal idea in Mind.
IN times of financial stress and strain it is indeed comforting to learn, through the study and application of Christian Science, that there is only one real business, the Father's business.
