Exploring in depth what Christian Science is and how it heals.

THE UNITY OF GOD AND MAN

IN the Christian Science textbook,"Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy defines God as follows (" p.

OVERCOMING A SENSE OF LACK

THE problem of lack touches the experience of many; but because it is a problem, it is solvable. The Scriptures teach that God, the loving Father, provides all good for His children.

THE BRAZEN SERPENT

A DIFFICULTY which presents itself to many people in approaching the study of Christian Science is disbelief in the Bible. The inevitable reaction from the theory of "verbal inspiration," so called, arising from the freedom of research which characterizes this period, has resulted in a tendency to think of the Bible as a collection of interesting folklore, Oriental drama, and poetry, admirable as literature, but of no practical import to the present generation.

THE CHURCH OF CHRIST, SCIENTIST

THE true idea of Church is identified with no mere set of human conditions, historic or otherwise, which a later period might render obsolete or archaic. His thought would leap forward to the privileges of freedom.

RECOGNITION OF GOD

GOD is expressed through spiritual ideas, since He is Spirit or Mind. The recognition of God's ideas must, therefore, come through thinking which is spiritual; and thus, through purified thinking we know God, good.

COMPANIONSHIP

ON page 100 of "Miscellaneous Writings" Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, writes, "Pure humanity, friendship, home, the interchange of love, bring to earth a foretaste of heaven.
