“Deep waters. Rough patches.

Have you ever felt burdened with work, whether it is homework, your job, or household chores that have to get done all in one day? As a college student in a rigorous education program, I often feel that I have too much to accomplish in so little time. This distress was particularly aggressive one day last year when I was taking challenging education courses and the work just continued to pile on my desk.

“All that I am I give to thee , and I expect nothing in return. ” This was the loving message I heard from God during a tender moment of deep prayer.

Some people are very clear where they are going and what they want to do after their college studies, whereas others are confused. Those who thought they knew their purpose in life and did not find it may feel unsatisfied and confused or hopeless about their future.

I love our hymns. For me, they are prayers that give comfort and guidance.
