Resurrection moments

I had been thinking more consciously about resurrection as the Easter season approached. Was resurrection only a one-time event that happened centuries ago to the most spiritually-minded man the world has ever known? If it is more than that, what does resurrection mean to each of us? Does it reach down into the details of human experience and actually influence our daily living? I thought of Christ Jesus' rebuke to Peter and the other disciples he took with him into the garden of Gethsemane the night before his crucifixion: "And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
