What is the most important thing about The Christian Science Monitor? Its prestige in journalistic and academic circles? The respect it receives in government offices? Its decency and dependability? Its appearance, which has won so many awards over the years? These and many other assets have always been potent selling points, as well as cause for gratitude among Christian Scientists. Church members enjoy knowing that the Monitor is widely admired even though it is not as widely read as it deserves.
