One of the most compelling incidents that have appeared on television in recent years took place during the memorial services for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

In previous articles in this series, reference has been made to the divisions in the book now appearing as a unit and known as Isaiah. It is to the third of these portions, Chapters 56 to 66, commonly called Third Isaiah or Trito-lsaiah, that we now turn our attention.

There are two simple and obvious ways you can contribute to the success of the Wednesday testimony meetings in a Church of Christ, Scientist. One is to attend regularly; the other is to testify.

Just as we expect to see improvement and progress in the areas of body, home, or business because of our application of spiritual law as learned in Christian Science, so we should expect to see improvement and progress in our church experience. A maturing concept of Church must appear as a sound, healthy, and expanding human expression.

Dear Friend, What a privilege to answer your joyful letter and to share some "gleanings and guidelines," as you express it! You mention that with your family still at home and your practice of Christian Science unfolding, you are needing to watch that you give ample time and care to your family. These two activities are mutually helpful.

Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health: "The twelfth chapter of the Apocalypse typifies the divine method of warfare in Science, and the glorious results of this warfare.

As long as we believe we are human beings, it is vital to the harmony of our experience and to our spiritual progress that we understand we have a God-bestowed heritage of divine ideas. To be saved from harmful thinking, the human consciousness, through the study of Christian Science, must be taught to acknowledge the supremacy, yes, the allness, of the one, divine Mind.

We all have legitimate human needs. Some of us need to be freed from a sense of fear, inadequacy, sin, disease, or grief; others of us may need companionship, a purpose, employment, or a home.

How important it is in every department of human experience to reject the false and gain the correct view! One of the reasons given for Abraham Lincoln's greatness was his readiness to abandon views proved false and accept new and truer views without loss of dignity. Christian Science is revolutionary as well as revelational in its clear presentation of the facts of true being.
