Letters from our readers

Letters to the Editor
Found in a laundromat One day, while I was waiting for my laundry to wash and dry, I figured I'd pick up a magazine to cure my boredom. I noticed an article mentioned on the cover of The Christian Science Journal that interested me.
Spiritual solutions I can't help but tell you how much I've enjoyed The Christian Science Journal in the fifteen years I've been reading it. The Journals ' consistent dignity and love, and especially their explanations of practical spiritual solutions to life's tumult have been so helpful and healing that I believe it is natural for anyone honestly seeking truth to wish to read them.
Spiritual pioneers I was most impressed with The Christian Science Journal's coverage of the "Pioneers of the Spiritual Millennium" conference in Boston. The August, September, and October issues were ideal for sharing with our community.
Old and new love I love The Christian Science Journal. I find the articles consistently inspiring, timely, and enduring, even though sometimes they gently chide me, and sometimes they give me a downright drubbing—which I have needed and ultimately loved! I vividly recall an article in 1997 titled "Don't be fooled by the appearance— see, spiritually!" That brought me to my senses at a time when I needed fresh vision.
STANDARDS OF MORALITY The Lambeth Conference, an international gathering of Anglican Church ministers, took place in Canterbury, England, during July and August. One of the conference debates concerned the subject of Christian standards of sexual morality.
The following letter may shed further light on issues of spiritual growth and healing. Last May an editorial with the title "When healing hasn't come—what now?" invited an open dialogue with readers, and there has been some in the ensuing months.
Moscow services I cannot find the words to express the feelings I have for The Christian Science Journal, which I have been getting for three years. I look forward to every issue, and having received it, leave all my engagements until I have read right through it.
Womanhood For years I have been truly grateful for the enriching, redirecting, and uplifting articles and poems that have come to me monthly in The Christian Science Journal . It seems to me that their directness has become increasingly evident in recent years.
Journal covers Thank you for the beautiful and inspiring cover photos on recent issues of The Christian Science Journal . They lead to an expectancy of spiritual truths within the pages.
