Recently a man walked into a used book store, and a copy of Science and Health caught his eye on the shelf. He kept going back to it and finally bought it. Within two weeks he was on his second read-through of the book, and went into a Reading Room to find out more about the author. He told the librarian that his co-workers now tease him that they haven't heard him swear for two weeks. He also said he had had a hot, trigger temper but had become much calmer recently. He had chewed tobacco for half his life and had totally lost the urge since reading Science and Health.
