I pray for tenderness, And understanding too, To prove the bitterness Of yesterday untrue. I pray for clarity To see God's perfect plan, A world-wide charity— The brotherhood of man.

Blue sky domed over Galilee. The sun was setting and a little wind Stirred the rapt listeners as they halted there.

Watching this hour dear God with Thee In deep sincere humility We learn to listen, banish fear, And share with other travelers here The proof of Love's rich overflow The peace and joy that all may know, Through Thy divine reality.

Safety is not in place. This Daniel proved When cast into a den of lions.

To those who know the power of Love that holds Man and his Maker inseverable, intact, Complete in oneness, precious Truth unfolds And proves for them the scientific fact There is no separation. For they who learn to understand this word As meaning "state of being set apart" Have felt within themselves new courage stirred And strength renewed to lead a grateful heart To deeper consecration.

Now Noah, being righteous, pleased the Lord, And built, as he was told, an ark. So, understanding that the things of God Were real, and could not be destroyed, He rode above the surge of error's tide, Dwelt safe within the ark; he proved That God will ever keep His covenant.

Awake to Truth and let the hour of light Cast out old shadows with the dawning day; Then in the joy of hope irradiate, Be vigilant and learn to watch and pray. When threatening storm clouds gather thoughts of fear, Of hatred, sorrow, discontent, and strife, With clear discernment seek the way of Truth; Put on the Christ and know eternal Life.

Our hope is in the spoken Word of God. Throughout eternity His Word endures.

O tender , all-embracing love of God, that draws us as the needle to the pole, we follow in the paths that Jesus trod and learn that now man is complete and whole. There is no point beyond the gravitation that Godward draws the feet of wandering men by ways they may not see, but God in wisdom is there to bring them to their home again.
