Testimonies of Healing

Zipping around the house late one night as I turned off lights on my way to bed, I had a misstep. In an instant, I was tumbling down the basement stairs.

As assistant librarian in my local Christian Science Reading Room, one of my duties (delights!) is to decorate the windows and rooms monthly, generally centered on a topic or theme that comes to me through prayer.   One morning I was finishing up with the windows when I noticed a young man outside digging through a trash can.

The writer had complete assurance that there could never be any malfunction in Mind, Spirit, Soul, Life, Truth, Principle, or Love.

My husband and I were excited that friends who lived out of town were coming for a long-overdue visit. Our plans with them included attending an art exhibit for which tickets had been purchased months in advance.

We can be healed by turning to God and deepening our spiritual understanding.

Through the years, among the many blessings I’ve received from the study and practice of Christian Science is that of physical healing. I hope sharing one particular healing will bring comfort and inspiration to others.

In early 2016, I had a severe reaction after using a hair dye that I had used many times before. My scalp became inflamed, and soon rashes appeared on my face and neck.
