IN Revelation we read, "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna. " One who was endeavoring to gain a clearer realization of true substance made a careful and prayerful study of the foregoing Biblical promise.

ON page 521 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy makes the brief statement, "The harmony and immortality of man are intact. " Because mortals believe and constantly fear that life is in some way incomplete, that some good has been lost or is being missed, this statement is worthy of consideration.

MANY of us have watched with delight the sparkling mountain stream as it leaps over rocks and surmounts obstacles that would impede its progress, singing melodiously as its waters wind their way onward. No stagnation or sluggishness here! Gathering momentum and power, the stream admits of no interference as it hastens on its way.

NEW views of law bearing on human relationships have claimed attention during recent years in many parts of the world. So conflicting are some of these aspects of law, however, that it is apparent that something more fundamental than human experiment is essential to a permanent adjudication of the subject.

A DICTIONARY defines "perspective" in part as "the aspect of an object of thought from a particular standpoint. " This definition is interesting to the student of Christian Science, for he sees that a right spiritual standpoint, involving alertness and clear, scientific thinking, must be maintained.

ON page 517 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," under the marginal heading "Divine personality," Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has written: "The world believes in many persons; but if God is personal, there is but one person, because there is but one God. His personality can only be reflected, not transmitted.

FROM time immemorial, freedom has been the desired goal of every human being; it has been one of the deepest longings of the human heart, one of the strongest cravings of the human consciousness. Yet, at the same time, freedom has seemed almost unattainable, although mankind has searched for it in myriad ways and in all possible directions.
